How We Came to Be

We started our Bonnibel journey in Bondi Junction, creating a space where locals and visitors alike could gather, unwind and enjoy alfresco dining, all within an open-air patio adorned with sun-kissed palms, custom built for enjoying the simple pleasures of good food and good times.

Soon after, we opened our second home in Melbourne, dishing up hot slices and cold brews, people watching the hustle and bustle of the iconic city around.

Whichever city you join us at, there's one thing for certain. Everyone’s well at Bonnibel.

What’s In A Name?

The original name Bonnibel is Scottish and literally translates to cheery and beautiful. Of course there’s the subtle tip of the hat to 'Bon'di our first home, but overall we wanted a name that embodies all that we stand for: a welcoming atmosphere and all the beauty that is around us!
